Tim Wilson
Tim Wilson has been pursuing perfection of Bujinkan Budo Taijutsu since the Fall of 1989. He has trained primarily with Jeff Duncan, Shidoshi of the Roanoke Bujinkan Dojo for 14 years. Tim has also enjoyed studying under Bud Malmstrom, Shidoshi of the Bujinkan Atlanta Dojo, as well as Stephen K. Hayes, Shidoshi from Ohio. Tim regularly travels to train at various seminars throughout the eastern United States to further his understanding of Budo. Many of these seminars have included Tai Kai in which he has trained under the tutelage of Dr. Masaaki Hatsumi the 34th Grandmaster of Togakure Ryu Ninjutsu. It was at the Smokey Mountain Tai Kai in 1998 that Mr. Wilson tested and passed for his Godan (5th Dan) rank.
Mr. Wilson is also a student of Mr. John Farnam's Defensive Training International Inc. He also holds certification through Vance's Executive Protection program. Tim enjoys the shooting sports as well as the pursuit of sound defensive tactics and principles.
Tim is a strong believer in the concept that any person can benefit greatly by developing a better understanding of themselves, not just physically but mentally and spiritually as well. Shidoshi Wilson has found that studying the traditional arts of Budo is an excellent way to do this.
